I painted this oil on canvas after my previous attempt at the Kalinga River, in Queensland, Australian landscape. I think this one is a bit nicer, and a more nature feel to it. I broke the trees up with the blazing sunlight and allowed more definition in the trees. I also blended more than the previous painting. The green, yellow and blue is still the main tones, but I add bits of purple to offset it a bit and bring a more natural spectrum from the bright light.
