Da Bomb Mousepad from Zazzle.com

Da Bomb Mousepad from Zazzle.com

This abstract photograph composite is perfect for your teen.  It's da bomb baby, and bizarre writing and concept is sure to be a hit with the teens.  Just dark and different, with a lot of red and yellow to mix it up a bit.  Heck we'll even throw in two skulls and a lightening bolt for no extra cost.  If you don't want a mouse pad, let me know and I can also add it to the iPod case, or better yet- you can go to the Zazzle site for Mark Malinowski aka Spinmeright and customize your own gear.

Atomic bomb bubbles photo

This photo is from an experiment series, of bubbles- from the redbubble web site. I took this photo using a glass jar. Used detergent and food colouring. Then spiced the photo up with Photoshop. Had the look of an Atomic Bomb so I added a few effects, but mostly the photo is as is. Let me know what you think please.

Murray River, Victoria, AU. - Great historical towns

Euchca and Swan Hills, Victoria, AU. - Great historical town with lot's of great riverside photo ops! The town has access to the steamboats that actually still run the river. It's truely a great spot for any historical photos. There's a small town called Euchca along the river port that still has horse drawn carriage rides. I really enjoyed this spot. There's also some nice bakeries, and hotels\pubs to kick back at. Here's a link to the town of Swan Hills if you decide to visit. This site had a Giant fish that is always fun for the kids. Both places are along the Murray river near the New South Wales\Victoria boarder.
In Euchca:
Some events on in Euchca:
Southern 80 Ski Race - February
Riverboats Jazz Food and Wine Festival - February
Echuca-Moama RSL Fishing Classic - March / April
Rotary Steam Horse and Vintage Rally - June
Winter Blues Festival - July
Port of Echuca Heritage Steam Festival - October

Very rugged terrain, but nice bridges and the river runs near the road, so it's not too much of a walk. Fairly remote so best to make it a camping trip. Some nice long bike paths as well if you want to do some site seeing.

From Hervey Bay, Queensland, AU: Quaint little bayside resort town. It has miles (km's) of beaches, as well as a great pier. The sunrises are truely gorgeous. It's north of Brisbane, and whale watching tours are there in season. Fishing and boating all around, as well as getting those great photos.

"The Great Smoky Mountain Range in the US" :http://www.nps.gov/grsm/index.htm - this place can give you some great photo opportunities. You don't have to go far from the road to get some beautiful shots. The towns are designed for camping and local tourism, and it's a great place to visit as well. The range goes from Tennessee to North Carolina. Black Bear and other wild animals are everywhere. Great trails to hike and camp. Truely a wonderful place to go.

Golden Gold Coast - Photos

Then there's the Gold Coast . You can get quite a number of nice shot's with the beach and the highrise skyline. If you move a few Kilometres south, you're in NSW (New South Wales). There are a number of places right along the coast that offer great photos possibilities as well. Mt. Tamborine is about a 1/2 hr inland, and very beautiful. You can see the mountain range from the city. All in all very nice area for photo shoots.

Nudge Beach-quiet beach with nice photo ops!

Nudge Beach-http://www.ourbrisbane.com/suburbs/nudgee-beach it's a nice beach with great photo opportunaties! It's not your normal "Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast" beach. It's interesting really. It's really nice all day... The tide goes out rather far and leaves these little tidal pools that trap lot's of little marine life in each pool. Also, there's nice photo ops around the marsh nature trails. Overall, if you're in the Brisbane area, it's got some nice areas to visit for a bit. It's nice to go there any time of day. There's also fishing, biking, bird watching, and some hiking as well as getting wet. Here's some photo's I've taken from there.

Gin Gin- north of Brisbane

There was another town that we passed through that might have some photographic possibilities for those who like historical or old towns. It was Gin Gin. It was tiny, mainly just the pass through but there was a nice little historical village. But no Gin factory that we could see ;( bummer... There were a few buildings to take some passing photos, but we found not much else there. - Not knocking the town, just it was a pass through. If you have a boat, a bit north was a Monduran Lake. It's stocked with some nice fish there. The dam is lack luster for photos, but the lake itself could give some nice shots. I don't have any photos from these places processed but if your passing through they might give you better results.

Also went to Rockhampton, QLD recently

Also went to Rockhampton, QLD recently. http://www.sunzine.net/rockhampton/rockhampton-city.html

This town is mainly cattle and basic industralia... There's a good cowboy pub there that we went for a $10 Ribeye steak (Tuesday nights). Friday's got a free rodeo and lot's of great cowboy's and cowgirls around. Really nice feel to the place. The town also has a nice river flowing as well as a pretty nice historical village. I would recommend this place when they have their events going on as it was nicely laid out. Also, the ocean is not too far away - Great Barrier Reef so any snorkler would love it. Gladstone & Kingaroy since I have some photos

Well instead of watching terrible tv shows I'm going to write a bit about some of the recent locations I went, and some of the photos I've taken. More specifically, they are potential places for those of you that would like to have some nice artistic photos. The area I'm dealing with this week is in Queensland (most will be there for a while)... The first area was Gladstone, and Kingaroy since I have some recent photos of these.

Gladstone is a very industrial city north of Brisbane http://www.gladstonerc.qld.gov.au/ . We were quite taken aback by how industrail it was. It was great! I wish I had more time, as we were only passing through. But there were so many areas for industrial shots and ocean views it was great. There's also some good fishing out there apparently for those who aren't into photos (like that exists)... Here's some examples of photos from there http://spinmeright.redbubble.com/sets/104746/works/4415571-1-aluminum-factory-in-gladstoneeright.redbubble.com/sets/104746/works/4415571-1-aluminum-factory-in-gladstonegladstone and http://spinmeright.redbubble.com/sets/104746/works/4415564-1-train-tracks

The other was a smaller town called Kingaroy. I'm not kidding with the small town. We were visiting a small farmstay (great place for photos also- will write about that one later) http://www.bunyipsprings.com.au/ . But the thing about Kingaroy is it's a peanut growing town, so they have some nice historical museum (free) in the information building. Got some nice silo and peanut machinery photos from there. Here's a few images from there http://spinmeright.redbubble.com/sets/104752/works

So - I'm going to be writing about some other spots I've recently visited soon.

talk to ya'all then.

Cheers
