Euchca and Swan Hills, Victoria, AU. - Great historical town with lot's of great riverside photo ops! The town has access to the steamboats that actually still run the river. It's truely a great spot for any historical photos.
There's a small town called Euchca along the river port that still has horse drawn carriage rides. I really enjoyed this spot. There's also some nice bakeries, and hotels\pubs to kick back at.
Here's a link to the town of Swan Hills if you decide to visit. This site had a Giant fish that is always fun for the kids. Both places are along the Murray river near the New South Wales\Victoria boarder.
